Capt. Jimmy Steppee has enacted some new safety rules that are very important.  From this time forward there will be NO discharging of any side arms or long arms within or near our camp.  Furthermore, caring more than ONE (1) side arm is strictly prohibited.  Unless a scenario calls for long arms none should be brought to an event.  You will be informed ahead of time if long arms are needed.  ARMS WILL NOT be loaded with blank rounds unless otherwise specified for the battle scenario at an event.  Each day ALL arms will be inspected by an assigned safety officer.  The safety officer will be appointed at each event by the officers of Porter's Battery.  We encourage safety as our FIRST priority!
